I wish I had advice, we are moving into this and I am interested in reading the comments!

Henry just went through a big growth spurt 3 weeks ago. He was hungry every 1 1/2 - 2 hours!

Right now he eats 28-30 ounces of breast milk a day. (I know, he is a piggy!) Usually 3, 6 ounce bottles and 2, 5 ounce bottles and we just started introducing him to cereal (more so far for practice as he doesn't eat enough of it right now to keep him full). Our Doctor told us to keep in mind that his stomach is only about the size of his fist but that for Henry’s weight/height ratio that he can drink anywhere between 24-32 oz a day so we are within that.

I don't know if it is a boy thing or what because Terry and I were talking about how this child gets when it is time to eat. He sees his bottle and he starts shaking his hands infront of his mouth and going crazy. And he LOVES to eat. He sometimes gets cranky when he is done eating, he just wants more.

We are going to try veggies in the coming weeks, so it will be interesting to see how he takes to that, but I have a feeling we will be in the same situation where this child is eating a lot!

Just a growth spurt! Not to worry. If his growth is where it's supposed to be at his well child checks, then all is well! Aidan is going through one right now too; he eats more than I do at most meals and he's 16 months. It's bizarre.

Good luck keeping up!! I swear it's a full time job. :)
