From us, we are getting Annie 4 things every Christmas with the theme want, need, wear, read - her "stocking" is from Santa.
Last year (she was 11 months) the "want" was a bead maze someone had gotten her from a baby shower, and a pull toy that came free with a book, "read" were 2 Christmas books, "wear" was just a cute outfit I liked, and "need" was a new straw sippy cup. In her stocking I put a few of her favorite things at the time - a diaper (she loved to randomly carry them around), a container of sprinkles to shake, and some tissue paper :) Ha! I remember she got summer clothes, a wooden pound and roll tower, and shoes from family.

We got her nothing for her first Christmas. Her grandparents, of course, totally spoiled her, though :) We figured she didn't know the difference and didn't know whose gifts she was ripping apart, either. She was only 4 months, though, too. This is the first year we're really buying her some stuff to have at our house because she's finally really aware of Christmas.
