thumbs down

  • I hate sitting in stopped traffic on a bridge. It freaks me out.
  • I hate seeing parents smoke around their children. Why?  Because it's nasty and harmful to them.  Do I have to say anything else?
  • I hate seeing moms smoking while driving mini-vans with kids or no kids in the backseats. If you smoke without your kids in the car, when they get in they will smell it.  If they are in the car, well, that's a no brainier.
  • I hate parents who smoke while walking their baby in a stroller. Stop.  They can still smell it.
  • I hate seeing children in cars without seat belts or not in car seats. This makes me really sad for their safety.
  • I hate seeing animals in the road that have been hit, especially when you can tell it was probably someone's pet.
  • I hate when people don't know how to merge properly on the freeway. If you have a yield and there is traffic coming in the direction you're merging, yield means stop.
  • I hate people that think the "passing lane" is called the "fast lane".  Just because you're going over the speed limit, doesn't make you a fast driver who can just sit in that lane and not let a single soul by.  Get over. (Driving on a two lane highway back and forth each morning and night makes this issue a lot bigger than it would be to a normal 4 lane freeway driver.)
  • I hate wearing shoes in the house and I hate being barefoot and step on something that came in the house from a shoe that was worn outside (mulch, rocks, dried mud, etc...).
  • I hate buying clothes at full price.  If it's not discounted in some way, I usually won't buy it.
  • I hate my commute into work.  I still do and always will.
  • It annoys me when people tap their foot or bang on their desk repeatedly and have no knowledge that they are doing it or that they are annoying those around them.  This has been happening for the last week at my office and it's beginning to really drive me crazy.
  • It annoys me when you walk into a doorway and when you have the right of way, you aren't given it.  It's mainly with children around 10-19 years old that just don't have a clue, but still.  Makes me a little loopy.
  • I hate to iron.
  •  I hate paying for a manicure and having it chip the next day. (I do, however, love my co-worker who painted them for me and I haven't had a chip in 4 days.  I even weeded the flower beds yesterday with no chips!)
  • I hate being gone every weekend or several weekends in a row.  It makes it very hard on the family, our schedule and our house.
  • I hate worrying about money.
  • I hate how time passes so quickly.
  • I hate that I don't use my camera more to capture moments that we're never going to get back.
Just a little hormonal and annoyed lately.  Grrr.

I agree with most, all really, of these. Especially the smoking ones. It makes me want to pull my hair out!

I agree with most of these too! Especially the smoking ones...and it drives me batty when grandparents smoke, even if NOT around the baby. It's on YOUR CLOTHES. When the baby snuggles into you, they are breathing smoke. I don't get it. At all.

Maybe I'm hormonal this week too. ;)

I hate so many of these things as well...perhaps that's why I love you! Have a nice weekend, don't let the hormones ruin it!
I also hate it when people shuffle their feet when wearing shoes -flip flops in particular- (shuffling with tap shoes is great). I have a co worker that despite me and others asking her not to shuffle so is CONSTANTLY shuffling. AHHH! Wear normal shoes if you cannot pick up your feet!

that nightmare

Time is passing and permanent/next step decisions AREN'T being made about where our marriage is going.

Not because of anything other than HOPE....

Hope that these changes are real.  I can't deal with an act anymore.  I'm done with those fake attempts.  It just won't work for me.  I can't.

Hope that he really wants to change.  Because he's the only one that can make that decision for himself and not anyone else.

Hope that a new normal is really a possible option.  And not just a glimmer of something that will eventually be shattered and destroyed.

Hope that we could work through all of this and actually land on our feet.  But he has to want to do those things and my guidance won't help him.  He's got to want to do them on his own.  I can't help or ask or guide.  He has to do it.  Alone and with the help of God.

Hope that the narcissistic behaviors are being dealt with in positive ways and won't resurface.  With the help of prayer, guidance from h…

my little model...

There is a blog that I follow of a photographer that I saw at the Delaware County Fair. Her studio is near my home town and her pictures are very vibrant. I enjoy looking at different aspects of photography and I like seeing how didn’t people capture pictures and scenes… I guess you could say I’m envious.

While following her blog, I saw a post that stated Calling All Furry Friends and immediately responded. I have always wanted to have Toby get professional pictures done but I just fear that I wouldn’t pick the right person to capture his personality.

Anyway, as you can read in the link above, there were a handful of photographers at Megan Morgan’s studio and they were all going to be there just to take furry friends pictures.

Of the people that were there two have uploaded their pictures and Toby is in them!

First, Megan Morgan’s blog: Weekend Workshop

Then, Holly McCaig’s blog: Dogs Everywhere

They all captured some great pictures and I can’t wait to get my hands on them so that I …

clomid vs. follistim

(IUI #4)

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "letters, 1", stating:

"what are the statistics on follistim v. clomid or other oral egg-enhancing drugs?"

Before I responded, I went on webmd.com just to make sure I knew what I was talking about.  {Nothing like going through a medical procedure, thinking you know everything and then letting an Anonymous comment send me off my track. ha!}

Disclaimer: I'm not a dr. nor do I want to be a dr.  This is what I understand to be the difference.  This isn't fact, other than the links I'm posting, it's just my understanding.  Please DO NOT take my words for fact.

This is what I knew before I did the research:

Both Clomid and Follistim are ovary stimulating drugs that tell your ovaries to produce eggs.  They are both in the same in that aspect of things.  The physical difference is that Clomid is in pill form and taken orally.  Follistim is powder to liquid that is administrated by a pen/shot.
