I'm channeling my inner creative self and joining Ann Marie at white house, black shutters in her Homemade Christmas Ornament Exchange 2011.
I have an idea that I've been hoping to try for some time and this will give the me the opportunity to actually execute it! If you have a crafty side, you should join in. If nothing else, just make one and exchange it! Could be fun to see what you receive? That's why I'm doing it. I want to see how creative someone else is. :)
OH and......... Don't get me wrong. This talk about my tree going up early and all that... doesn't make me want to skip over Thanksgiving. My real reason is that I put up a lot of decorations and I'd just like to enjoy them for a few days longer than 33... I won't do it. But I like to think about it.
Also, from your comments yesterday, it made me ultra excited about creating a giving/thankful tree for this year (if I'm lucky) but next year, for sure. I love the idea of collecting things that you're thankful for from your family and yourself during this time. I thought it would be fun to make a time capsole of them and hide them away for several years and then revisit them for memories sake.
More on that another time.
Once my ornament has been shipped, I'll do my best to post a tutorial... :) My first one! Oh and there's lots of creative things happening over here at the Hopefuls household, lately. I cannot wait to share them with you...
