How am I feeling? I'm feeling pretty good. I'm not really having as many food issues, I discovered that pasteurized cheeses are good to eat so I'm digging right back into the brie (as long as it's pasteurized or cooked to temp). My back (sciatic nerve) is still acting up, but I'm getting closer and closer to actually doing something about it. I was approved to see a chiropractor, so I'm pretty happy about that.
Other than that, I'm doing really good and LOVING the 2nd trimester.
Weight: I'm still only up 2 pounds or something, but seriously it fluctuates daily. I'm okay with this and know that very soon, things will be changing!
Food: Loving buttered noodles and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. So much so that I had a dream about the pb&j the other day and almost woke up to make one! It's wild! But whatever works. I wouldn't call them a craving, per say... just something that sounds good. I like food though and just about anything sounds good these days. Not like the first trimester... that's for sure!
Doctor's appointments: On Tuesday, December 28th we had our "20 week" ultrasound and dr.'s appointment. It really great except for the fact that our little sprout had it's legs crossed! We have a DVD of the whole thing and the picture above is from that day too! If nothing else, for us, it was great to know that everything was healthy and the heart was still beating strong. We were on a high from that we didn't care about not finding the gender. Luckily for us the ultrasound tech (not twit) said that they would let us come back in 2 weeks to do it all over again! I'm so stoked because they will be 2 weeks older and bigger! It will be awesome!
Oh and as I said before... we're doing a very gender neutral nursery. Here are the links for our bedding and the nursery wall color.
This week's events: I've been off since December 23 and I have to admit that it's pretty nice! Mr. Hopeful and I have been spending some great time with one another, our families and some friends from out of town. Tomorrow we plan to have a gathering at our house with some friends for the New Year... Oh and here's a picture of our other house guest with our Toby dog...
Happy New Year blogosphere...
