Happy Birthday to ME!!!
That's right, today is the day that I arrived into the world.
Through my 26 years, I'd like to say that I've learned a lot, loved a lot, hurt a lot and laughed a lot. My hurt has always been something that I can over come. I've learned from my hurt and from my love. I laugh only because it's the most enjoyable thing for me. I love to laugh! I also love to make people laugh, although that doesn't always come easy for me (that's why I married my dh)!
I've gained new friends, stayed in touch with old friends, lost touch with some friends and have got back in touch with other friends. You all play a major role in my life and sometimes I feel like I would have no where to turn if you weren't there to lend a shoulder or hand. Thank you for being who you are in my life!
My husband. The bestest friend of all! As a language arts teacher, he'll appreciate the spelling error in the last sentence. =) You are a main source of my laughter, everyday, and for that I love you. Even when I hate the world, you are still able to have me laugh about something. Most of the time it's as simple as a funny face, comment or maybe a fart. Either way, it's entertaining and I enjoy it! You are my rock, my love, my back bone, my motivation, my everything. I love you and I love all 8 years that we've been together!
My family. 4 (immediate) family members that really mean the world to me. Obviously, if it weren't for my parents I wouldn't be here, so thanks for that one! My dad, the ultimate handy man and keeper of all random things! He's always there to help and always has something to help with. He's a great dad and I hope some day Sean will pick up some more of his handy man tricks. My mom, our family rock. She keeps us all sane, she makes us laugh, she's innocent and quiet, yet funny and lovable. She's a fantastic mom! Lastly, my siblings, who are both great and major figures in my life. We have been through a lot as a family and it's great to be able to depend on them for things. I also look forward to spending my birthday evening with all of you!
I'll wrap up with a quote:
“And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.” ~ Abraham Lincoln
Now go and celebrate my birthday!! Drink lots and lots of margaritas!!!!!!!!! =)
